ago? How some cars having a support tube inside the frame?

Sure Joe.  When the replacement arrives in the next few days I'll have the
old one off for closer inspection.  There is also an interesting washer that
was starting to deform.  Looks like somebody may have torqued it too hard
during a previous alignment - lucky they didn't crush the frame rail.

Thanks all, sourced one with Steve Wilkinson yesterday.  It's actually a
forged piece and has not been remade in a quality manner so NOS is the only
source.  Strange that I would have one with bungled threads - no idea how
long it's been like that.
