Check balance ring once in a while, in timing mark changes in relation to pointer ... plan on changing out assembly.
I have had one shift to rear and rub on oil pan, not what you want on a trip out of town ..

Bud #3400 ( Drive it like there is no tomorrow -- for there may not be ! )

In my opinion, the sharp point of the timing pointer above is pointing
at 9 degrees BTDC. In fact, no one knows for sure until someone
positively locates TDC in the engine and adjusts the pointer as
necessary. I've seen them be off due to bolthole slop, the outer ring
of the harmonic balance shifting or other problems. But if the engine
runs as expected and you're happy, drive it!

    Ok Tech Gurus
Assuming the timing light just fired, what does this picture show as
the current timing?  Should I read this as 26 Degrees of advance or 9
    degrees of advance?
