[DeTomaso] Pantera on the QuickJack Lift

 Looks just like mine!  Yes, very handy indeed.  
I have some hockey puck size rubber blocks with slots for pinch welds that I use on the rear cross member with some jack stands.  Cannot be to cautious when crawling under cars IMO.

No need for taller floor jacks. You can instead use blocks made of natural composite material (otherwise known as 2x4s) between pad of your floor jack and bottom of your car. Especially since it is only there as an augmentation to your main lift. 

I put my lift pads under the motor mounts in the rear, and the stock jacking locations behind the front wheels in the front. However I’m a bit nervous when I then climb into the engine bay, so I place a floor jack with blocks under the rear crossmember for extra security.
