[DeTomaso] Need new deck lid

Never seen one that has been able to be straightened, it's a triangulated Double sheeted section that warps. It is not straightforward at all. Pull in the exact opposite force and direction is real tricky if you had the fixture.

    No.  No, you do not need a new decklid, unless you were in a big wreck and your old one was absolutely destroyed. If the only problem you have is that it was bent by the too-strong shocks, you can just bend it back. If a hinge has broken off you can have it welded and spot painted. 
    
    I had a spare decklid and gave it away for $1500. It was worth $2000 or more but the guy saved me the trouble of shipping it so I gave him a break on the price. 
    
    Shipping a decklid would be very expensive—probably well over $500 including crating charges.  If you were to get a new decklid, you would have to have it painted. By the time you are done you are looking at $5000......
