[DeTomaso] Fuel Injection

The Bosch 044 really is the go to reliable pump for either external mount or in tank supply. You could consider an in tank pump with built in regulator and avoid the return line, but perhaps not so much advantage in a Pantera when the tank is literally a foot from the end use.

I have a Bosch 044 style pump mounted under the tank on a bracket mounted with rubber insulators to the frame rail.
I replaced the drain plug with a banjo fitting and I’m using a simple tin filter as a pre filter.
Has worked fine since 2001.
