Not sure where you're getting the "purports to be a Euro GTS" info.  I know the owner & helped him write the Bio for the auction.  He clearly states that he has the Marti report.  It's a U.S. spec car that someone put GTS trim on later. 
Since it didn't sell, he will be moving down to SoCal soon & the OC Panteras group will have a chance to help him out with the car.

  No-sale at $45k.  The goofy wing may have hurt it slightly, but unless  it's a rustbucket it seems to be worth substantially more than $45k,  especially with the 10-inch wheels.
  Panteras continue to suffer at musclecar auctions, while quality cars  still bring good money elsewhere (witness the strong sale of a very  nice Pre-L on BAT a few days ago):
