[DeTomaso] Engine finally back in the car

Konrad,
Looking at the photo more closely, it all seems perfectly normal.
I forgot that the later cars use a different scheme for supporting the gas tank top cover and engine screen. At first glance on a small iPhone screen, that looked like the top of the tank, and it appeared as though there was no shield between tank and engine, and the brackets that normally support the shield were instead riveted directly to the tank?
Obviously that would be insane.
Simply examining the photo more closely revealed that my question was totally idiotic. :)
