[DeTomaso] Collector Car Insurance by Infiniti - Weighing going back to Hagerty

I just received my renewal and have been using what was the Barrett Jackson endorsed insurance. It used to be underwritten by TDC Risk Management, then they got acquired by AIG and run it under their Private Client Group, but I still deal with the same folks . They approach it slightly differently with two policies one for my 'collection' that covers 6 cars the other for the driver piece, but on a comparison basis it's about the same as Ed's at $4.40 per $1,000 dollars insured, probably skewed a little on mine as I accumulated 4 tickets in 4 years.

I remember when I quoted Heacock and they saw the Ultima they were quite anal about going within some radius of a racetrack. Even with my current insurer I had to sign a waiver that I would not use it for timed events, that was some years ago, just as the HPDE craze was developing.

My Pantera is insured for $180k and my 94 Mazda Rx7 is insured for $45k through Heacock classic car insurance. Combined is $980 per year. Hagerty would have been double.

Just an FYI
