Dear Charlie,

            Tom Cotter believes a Pantera is "not the car to throw a suitcase in the back and drive from NY to LA", because (1) he has never thrown a suitcase in any car and driven from NY to LA and (2) he has never driven a Pantera, in all likelihood.......

I noticed the "early model with small bumpers" comment as well.
