[DeTomaso] New Fuel Injection recommendations

Nice article, thanks for sending, I like the look and ease of the Inglese 8 stack (more correctly Comp Cams as they hold the Inglese Trademark and also own the FAST brand, but Jim Inglese is back out on his own). A shame they didn't get any real HP/Torque numbers on the Pantera and quoted some generic change from a carburetor to 8 stack on a big block Chevy where the 8 stack likely added most if not all the benefits and FAST unit just made it easier to tune.

I think most folks think of the FAST or self learning units as a bolt on and go, so good to see the qualification that one should still go to the dyno and tune the EFI to spark curve.

You can go here and download the free FAST XFI C-COM 2.0 software:
https://www.fuelairspark.com/software-downloads
If you install it, you can go to:
HELP: INDEX
and get a massive amount of information.
You can connect the ECU to the internet and use remote turning services so you don't need to rely on local support to fix issues, and it is suppose to be self learning. There is a Facebook group and the Comp Cams FAST forum:
http://www.cpgnation.com/forum/forums/fast-support-forum.235/

Still installing, so no personal experience.
Some people like the Holley system better so you might want to look into it.

I'm finally going to upgrade to a new FI system. Car goes in to our
  local
Pantera guru, Mike Ditucci, next week.
I'm currently using an Electromotive system with a single Holley style
throttle body and sequential injection at each inlet valve. I would
  like to
keep that setup but upgrade to new well supported system that runs
  autonomously, ie, self learning.
  Would appreciate any recommendations, thanks.

Nice article, thanks for sending, I like the look and ease of the
Inglese 8 stack (more correctly Comp Cams as they hold the Inglese
Trademark and also own the FAST brand, but Jim Inglese is back out on
his own). A shame they didn't get any real HP/Torque numbers on the
Pantera and quoted some generic change from a carburetor to 8 stack on
a big block Chevy where the 8 stack likely added most if not all the
benefits and FAST unit just made it easier to tune.

I think most folks think of the FAST or self learning units as a bolt
on and go, so good to see the qualification that one should still go to
the dyno and tune the EFI to spark curve.
