[DeTomaso] Re-chroming exhaust tips question?

Jeff,

You have probably seen dozens of such cars with your own eyes, and never noticed. When done properly it’s all but invisible. 

US GTS cars came from the factory with slip-on covers over the stock L-model tips. I don’t know why.
