[DeTomaso] Side air scoops

Hello,
OK, understand, seems like I will have to fabricate inner plate with the spout; should be not a big problem.
If there is someone willing to sell a set of small scoops (regular ones without the back plate), new or used, please let me know.

Small scoops are just shells. if you got a pair, you'd have to glass in backing and a spout to connect to a hose for an air box. That's a good thing because the shells are designed to kind of snap in place against the rubber gasket and that's all thats holding them. If by chance they manage to grab some air, they will snap right back out. Mad Dog Antenucci lost one at a Silver State event some years ago when, at around 160 mph it finally started to work as a scoop. He spent an hour or so wandering out in the desert trying to find the missing one. With a backing plate, you could add a few sheet metal screws.

Hi,
I am wondering if someone would have maybe small side air scoops to sell;
used are fine as I would re-paint them any way.
I am looking for once similar to this; please see photos attached.
Ideally would be if they already have the backing plate with 4" duct
connections.
Thanks, Robert
