[DeTomaso] Cold air inlet idea

Tom told me the same thing.  He said that area of the car’s proportions and other design features were the most important.  Tom said what made the Pantera so special (compared to the Dino 246 contemporary for example) was the huge torquey V8.  He explained the gills were the leading edge of the haunches that communicated the power the Pantera possessed.
