Rich--
To my knowledge, the only successful modification of a Pantera side gill happened when the factory decided to cut the left one to accommodate the relocated fuel filler neck/gas cap.
To my eyes, gill mods always make the Pantera look cheesy. Tom Tjaarda said he never understood why folks messed with them.
Are you building a track car? If not, there are other ways to find the hp increase you are looking for.

Just curious if anyone has tried to cut slots in the side grill then slots
in body behind Grill then hole in inner panel to install a cold air tube to
air cleaner.
I know kind of an out of the box idea but I don't think the slots in the
Grill would affect the look of the car as much as the scoops.
Has anyone been successful cutting the side Grills without breaking them?
thanks Rich
