Subject: [DeTomaso] advice needed

Chris,
Say it isn't so!  Why not just finish it?!  I hope there is no terrible change to your life causing you to have to part with the car, but just restoration fatigue.
Anyway, how about some pics, or a link to an online album somewhere so we can get a better idea of the current state of affairs before throwing out random numbers.
Basically though, a complete and assembled car is always worth more than a car in boxes, regardless of whether the restoration is complete or not.  My opinion is that you'll "take it in the shorts" if you sell your car disassembled.  All the risk is on the buyer as to whether the engine rebuild was done right and with quality parts, whether all the parts are there or not, whether anything else needs repair/replacement, etc.
Anyway, I hope of the best for you!
Cheers!Garth#4033
