[DeTomaso] Warning - questionable ZF transaxle advert/for sale

All,

I responded to the following active listing on racing junk:

   https://www.racingjunk.com/Racing-Transmissions/183937732/Pantera-ZF-5-DS-25-2-Transaxle.html?utm_campaign=website&utm_source=sendgrid.com&utm_medium=email

The Seller:

   - responded to my inquiry with a request for immediate wire transfer
   - some research revealed that his advert used images and text from an ad
   several years ago (see https://www.gt40s.com/threads/audi-012-info.53183/
   )
   - the serial number for the racingjunk text did not match the serial
   number in his images
   - when I pointed out that the images from his add/email were the same as
   an older ad -- he responded by stating that it is the same transaxle that
   he bought and stored
   - tried to avoid me inspecting the transaxle due to working to a busy
   work schedule
   - when I offered to meet 24-7, he wanted a bitcoin transfer of $500 to
   "miss a day's work and meet" for me to inspect the transaxle

I suggest our DeTomaso group avoid.
