Hadn’t realized there was a second photo with the caliper.

As it is almost 1 inch in diameter I have no idea where it would have originally been placed.

It appears to be enamel on brass like the early wheel centers, but the size can’t be right for a wheel center.

Doubtful, but perhaps an aftermarket emblem from a key fob or something similar?
