A Belgian friend of mine living in Fort Lauderdale just bought a Ferrari
Mondial cabrio in concours condition in an auction in Belgium for a very
good price. The car is a 1971 and has spent her entire life in the
Netherlands and was always maintained by Ferrari in the Netherlands
He is considering importing the car in Florida for his family and kids to
enjoy, but does not know anything about customs duties . He is afraid the
new customs regulations could kill his hopes ! He doersn't think the car
should be modified for road use, as the car is from 1971.
I told him he should have thought of this before purchase, and tried to
convince him to buy a Pantera in Florida or elsewhere , but sadly, he has
been intoxicated with this strange "Cavallino Rampante" virus.
Can anyone help ?
