My notes list those bolts as 7/16-14 X 1-1/2 (don't have grade)
A generic torque chart for grade 5 (6.8Klbs clamping) as 35 lubed and 50 dry
ft-lbs

That's quite a range. Any idea why?

The ford shop manual for my 1970 Mustang with a 351C says 35 to 60 ft-lbs
for the motor mount to engine block bolts.

Dear Forum Members,

Would anyone know the torque spec for the motor mount bolts in the block?
