[DeTomaso] Hibachi hood vents???

Many years ago I bought a hood that had the hood vents already 
installed. All I had to do was have it painted to match my car, which 
was very easy to have done and cost very little.

I did some before and after testing of my water temperatures with the 
vents and without the vents. At the time my car had VDO gauges, which 
were very accurate. At an idle without the car moving, my water 
temperature was about five degrees cooler with the hood vents vs without 
them. This really isn't much, but it does help when you are close to 
boiling over. I had no way of testing these vents once the car was moving.
