Always financially risky to customize a car too much.  I suppose if it had an accurate GT5S conversion there would be some chance of getting some of the investment back?
I do see a lot of restomods go for big bucks in the auctions.  I'm not sure how that works out.

  They had two previous chances $70,000 at Mecum Louisville and $74,800
  at Kissimmee, not getting any better over time and it incurs the cost
  of additional transport to each auction...

  It has been on and off eBay for a long time for sale by Motoexotica,
  St. Louis MO.
