John,Forgive newbie questions. Is the "upper track" the aluminum "rail" the carriage with little plastic wheels rides up/down on? Bolts on top edge of inside door frame another bolt mounts this aluminum rail to bottom floor of door. FYI--i assume a spacer (that i cant see is between this aluminum rail and door frame it bolts to? I used a mirror--no spacer but looks like a washer between aluminum rail and door frame up there.
I also understand there are the felt lined "runs" that go from top of door frame right down into the bottom of door that the window rides in. Looks like it bolts on at middle (slotted screw on outside edge of door, and bottom of door.. Not sure what you are referring to when you say "Upper track" . To me, it looks like the actual window needs to be loosened on the (2) regulator attach points and shifted up on the left a hair if thats even possible. I may be wrong though. Cell if you can call 516-808-5226. Thanks

Start by removing the upper track bolt and spacer at the top with the window raised. If the spacer is the wrong width and forcing the window forward or back against the felt, it will cause the binding. The proper sized spacer, for the upper track bolt, will fit snug with the window in the up position. EZ Peazy

Folks,,
Window binds about 2 inches from full up. The window seems to be 1/8
inch outboard (almost inline with the stainless window trim) at the 2
inch from top bind. From there it pulls in to seat correctly in upper
felt lined window track. Where are the adjustment "screws" to tweak
the inboard/outboard position of window? Or--Do I loosen the 2 bolts
that hold bottom of window to regulator arm to see if it "re-positions"
itself at time of bind?
Or
Do I need to play with the center mechanism that has the carriage that
has little plastic"wheels that slide up and down the aluminum track in
center of door frame? I see that may have 2 screws to adjust on 1
side of carriage.
I have lubed everything with white lithium grease internally and used
dry teflon spray on the felt covered upper window rails .
Any help in getting window to not bind at 2 inches from full up is
greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!
