[DeTomaso] converting to factory ZF side mounts

Larry, the simplest way to make it 'easier' to R & R a ZF is to -A- use the later factory side mounts and -B- swap the three studs per side for three metric bolts. Then after removing the mounting bolts, the ZF just lifts out- no prying side to side or barbaric bending of the insulator tabs. KISS- J DeRyke

Sounds like an opportunity, to make improvements and spend more money. Since you have to fabricate new brackets for the ZF bracketed minus well make them lower my notching the cross members and making new motor mounts, and exhaust to lower the center of gravity of the engine,,,, ya ya ya you can do it.
