1972 Pantera Information



*Loma Prieta Pantera*

   - Transaxle was safety wired
   - Clutch throw out bearing replaced, flywheel resurfaced
   - Drilled body and unibody drain holes, sprayed with LPS3 rust inhibitor
   - Replaced rear axles w/Hall 4130 and bearings
   - Replaced half shafts w/Hall Spicer
   - Replaced cooling fans, thermostat, trunk latch installed
   - Replaced front wheel bearings, installed braided SS brake lines
   - Drilled and updated from spindles



*Hall Pantera*

   - Purchased 10” Campy Wheels (manufactured just prior to “L”
   introduction), original 8” rear moved to the front (original 7” front
   wheels exist)
   - Purchased Hall Pantera SVO headers (jet coated) & Euro GTS mufflers
   w/gaskets, 2” primary w/Tri-Y design, 2 ¼” collector, header pipe to
   muffler is 2 ¼” with special non- restrictive sound absorbing muffler,
   looks stock from behind
   - Master Cylinder Replaced
   - OEM clutch master and slave cylinder replaced
   - Throttle pedal & bearing replaced
   - Installed in-line cooling shut off valves bottom of firewall
   - Stock suspension springs installed



*Larry Auto Parts*

   - Purchased Pantera wheel paint



*Pantera Performance*

   - Purchased cooling fan relays, radiator grommet set
   - Lower rear suspension greasable support shafts installed
   - 100 AMP alternator installed (original “rebuilt” exists”
   - Modified aluminum water pump and thermostat 160 Deluxe installed
   - Deck lid piston/struts replaced (original exist)
   - Rear upright Timken tapered bearing modification, powder coated



*Pantera Parts Connection*

   - Purchased OEM headliner



*Other*

   - Radiator re-baffled
   - Replaced all cooling hoses and undercarriage tubing
   - Steering rack and pinion rebuilt
   - High torque started installed (original exists)
   - Momo Steering wheel and hub added (original exists)
   - 7/8 rear sway bar installed (original exists)
   - Added Halotron fire extinguisher
   - Added MSD 8350 ready to run distributor (original with points, new
   vacuum modulator & Pertronix electronic ignition exists)
   - Taylor 38090 high performance wires installed
   - Holley Street Avenger 0-80670, 670 CFM Carburetor installed, electric
   choke
   - Braided fuel lines installed
   - Optima Battery purchased in 2014, last one lasted for 11 years!
   - New crank balancer installed
   - Timing gear and true roller chain installed
   - Installed OEM front back up hood release – pull string located under
   the driver side dash.

   - Motor has never been removed
   - *Motor #03184* and *Transaxle #5356* are original to the car
   - Tool kit - complete
   - Space saver spare (like new) & tire inflator (used condition)
   - Engine screen – Does not fit with MSD Pro Billet distributor, found
   NOS original distributor vacuum module so this can be re-installed to allow
   use of the engine screen
   - Original rear sway bar
   - Originally steering wheel
   - Original alternator
