[DeTomaso] USA Pantera GTS

Chuck,

The low mileage GTS is a car you know well. It’s the one that was rear ended and totaled when almost new, that sat around for 30 years before somebody restored it and then Mecum unscrupulously offered it at numerous auctions as a pristine, unmolested original time warp car. The registry revealed the truth about it as there are lots of photos of it all smashed up. I think it sold eventually for six figures (might have been a false sale) but then if it resold for only $55k, that’s a really good deal.
