[DeTomaso] Pantera ice skating

My '73 Euro spec GTS (5186) has the early series 1 console with the single pod dash and the wipers park on the left.


I wish I had wipers like his with the little air deflector on the arms.  Mine move around (creep up) whenever a semi goes by in the opposite direction.

What a hoot!  Great way to learn how to drive any car in those conditions.  2 questions though: what sort of tires were on the car (had to have been something other than summer street tires), and looks as though it must have been an early car with a single-pod dash conversion as I'm not aware of any cars that had a single-pod and the left-sweeping wipers.  I have always wondered why when they switched to the right sweep, they couldn't have them lay down as nicely as the early cars.
