Thanks Julian, and I believe that is the type that have - large rectangular
cover with two clips on each of the long sides. When I put a fresh on the
car about 10 years ago, I believe was an early '80 Caddy master.

Mike,

I have a Motive pressure bleeder, it's a great device that allows brake
bleeding single handed. Basically just a pressure pot that you dump your new
fluid in, connect the correct cap fitting to your master cylinder and pump
up to 5-6 psi. Then just go around and bleed each caliper from farthest
first working back to closest to M/C. The pressure pot keeps fluid flowing
through the system and the master cylinder topped up. As I work on multiples
of cars I purchased a kit with a number of master cylinder cap fittings, key
is getting the correct one for your master cylinder.

The caveat with this system is using it on the GM type of master that has
the large single reservoir with a clip over cap as the fitting to cover and
seal it is a chain and thumbscrew affair, I never seem to get a good seal
on those.

Getting ready to bleed the brakes on 6328 to see if that solves my weak
brake problem. I reviewed brake bleed piece on Mike Dailey's website, and
he mentions using a brake bleeder kit. He made it sound pretty straight
forward, and didn't seem to involve the tedious open-down-close-up-repeat 10
times with someone else in the driver's seat. Has anyone else tried one of
these kits? There are a number of them on Summit Racing, anywhere from
$75-$150.

I've tried the Speed Bleeders before, didn't seem to work as advertised.

Thanks
