[DeTomaso] BAT Pantera question

Looks like somebody needed to fill the holes from one of those frame stiffener kits, now removed.

The car that is currently for auction on BAT has some triangle pattern screws in the front compartment.
Is this stock and something common to earlier cars?
I don't recall seeing these before. I asked the seller about them and he did not know.
Does anybody have an answer?
