[DeTomaso] NPC : Low Oil Pressure

All,
I just rebuilt a Ford 390 for my 66 Galaxie.  I have been running the motor and from time to time could here some valve clicking.  I have maybe 250 miles on the motor.  The oil pressure gauge shows 65 lbs on start up and then 20 seconds later drops to about 22 lbs.  I was thinking the gauge was bad, so today I changed the gauge and I started the motor.....the gauge showed 65 lbs oil pressure and then dropped again in 15 to 20 seconds to 20 LBS.  Clearly I have an issue.  Can you guys weigh in on what the problems might be?  I have shaft mounted rocker arms...I am thinking one of the allen head screws vibrated out of one of the ends of the shaft.  I still need to pull the valve covers to check that but anyone else have any ideas?  I have to take the kids to the beach to drop them off.....when I get back I am going to start to pull things apart.
