[DeTomaso] Clutch master cyl question

Don,

The hot tip for clutch master replacement is to leave the pushrod attached to the pedal. Remove the bolts holding the old master in place, pull it forward (which will pull the pedal to the floor) then use snap ring pliers to remove the snap ring holding the pushrod to the master. Remove the body of the master. Take your new master apart in a similar fashion. Slide the new master over the old pushrod, install the snap ring then bolt it in. 

No adjustment of the pushrod, no fiddling around on your back under the dash. 

Wilkinson taught me that trick....
