[DeTomaso] 2019 POCA FUN RALLY DATES

That's punny! HAHAHA
But it begs the real question, Why does POCA need so much cash? I quit
paying dues in principle because $75 was just padding the bank balance. *And
that balance has grown considerably since I quit a couple of years ago*.
Why not reduce the membership fee just to cover expenses so the members get
what they are paying for. Seriously, there is some needed liability
insurance benefit to the Board and the local club Boards, chapter rebates,
a magazine, and a newsletter. Do any of you members see any other benefits
of being a member? A puny but costly website that few really use, no
support for this forum , and, now, no support to individual chapters
putting on the Fun Rally - at least provide a guarantee that there won't be
a significant loss at the chapter level. Did I miss anything. In my local
chapter, we get our pass-through rebate check and that's about the only
interaction with POCA. I don't think our chapter president even listens in
to the Board meetings or whatever the communication channel there is for
the local presidents, not worth the time, he says.
