[DeTomaso] suggestion re: vibration

Oh!...I just thought...

when ujoints are out of phase, the driver will be running smooth, but the
driven will jerk.
So when accelerating, the engine is "smooth" and the tire shakes the car.
BUT when coasting (or cruising), the tire is driving smoothly and banging
the internals of the transaxle.

Did you pull the half shafts apart? There are marks on the two halves that
indicates how they are supposed to be clocked IIRC.

My cousin had assembled one of his half shafts out of phase and it vibrated
pretty violently under acceleration.
