[DeTomaso] 2019 POCA FUN RALLY DATES

Jack thanks for the dates - I thought that was what I saw.

I went to the 2 previous events in Reno and the two in Phoenix- and helped
in a small way with the event we held Houston.

Las Vegas doesn’t do much for me personally as I am there 4 times a year or
more on business.

To me I really want to have my car at the event and from Houston we can be
well into Florida before the 12 hours it takes to get out of Texas heading
west.

Driving Panteras around the Keys in Florida has a fair bit of appeal to me
- not that driving around Monterey doesn’t.

Nice to have choices.

That would be a very sad state of affairs if it was true. Iam hoping I

Yes, Robert-A the Florida event you refer to is a Chapter-run event
called 'The First DeTomasos United East Coast Fun Rally. It is to be
entirely run by volunteers from the South-East Pantera Chapter of POCA
over Oct 18-21. There are probably enough Panteras in FL and the
southeast U.S. to make it financially feasible. The 2019 Reno Event
will be of the same type held in the West, also run entirely by a POCA
Chapter who will reap any rewards for this sort of event. In previous
years, such events were sponsored by Great Lakes Panteras Chapter in
the mId-West and even earlier on the East Coast by the PONE Chapter and
   the Jersey Panteras Chapter.
The Board decided that POCA should not compete with the Chapters in
doing these sorts of events, when they know their local conditions
better than the Board, so we support the Chapter efforts. Hope to see
you at one or more- J DeRyke, POCA Newsletter Ed.
