Larry,
You should look at Steve Griffin's car. He had a similar issue with CHI heads and had a special piec machined to make everything fit.He might be able to get a clear photo from the rear.

  No, Ken . I purchased the bare block just for this build. Heads and
  intake are both brand new out-of-the-box items.
  I will be going to the shop tomorrow with my old performer manifold and
  see what the story is with that.
