I believe that is the dial for the in-dash AM radio. The knobs to the left
and right are on-off and channel.

Subject: [DeTomaso] NPC - Dial on dash of '38 Packard 12 - What is that?

Slow day, surfing YouTube. Video of a '38 Packard 12 'Gentleman's Coupe'.
Looking at the dash when he turns the car on, there is a dial that goes from
50-150 with marks starting at what looks like about 80. What would that be
a gage for? It's not the oil pressure as that is to the far right with
fuel. It's not the temp as that's to the far left with the amp gage? So,
does anyone know? Enquiring minds and all that. . .

Thanks, Mike Thomas
