[DeTomaso] New Zealand cars...

I would have to say “yes”. I’ve had 4 Panteras over 30 plus years, do all my own work, and

thought I knew everything. I found myself on the registry this morning looking for some

oddball detail. It’s an info bank. I think it’s a good idea to know what’s out there…real

and not real. Clones or kits would obviously be in their own section, probably interesting too.

I vote NO. No clone cars in registry. They are certainly very very welcome to the Pantera family.
But the registry should be for DeTomoaso built cars only. IMHO

I see 4 on the Unknowns List, (meaning the VIN is unknown on 4), the rest have been 'VIN'
    identified.

One of those 4 could be the Kit Copy, but I have looked at these 4 and all look to
    be DeTomaso-built.

Any idea Ed which is the Kit car ? Or a car that is not in the registry.

(Which brings up the topic of "Should clone cars be in the Registry" ?

    For the list guy that could not find the search page: (English is not his home language) ;

    www.provamo.com/Members/Registry/SearchRegistryMain.asp<http://www.provamo.com/Members/Registry/SearchRegistryMain.asp>

Click "Search By Feature" (Where Location is the first parameter on the list...)

Click on "Country", it is the first link...

Select from the drag down; "New Zealand"

    Click "Submit".

A list of cars in the selected "Location" is displayed... and a total count follows.

    Chuck

    Ed,

It's likely there are cars in the registry that are off your radar. Search the registry by country and identify the ones that are
    unknown to you?
