[DeTomaso] Turn signal cancel cam (steering column)

If you turn the wheel to another position can you get it to stay down? Although it is likely the switch unit, it is possible for the cam to be off center with the turn signal stalk and thus canceling in one direction as you try to deploy it.

Mike...
Well lets see, turn right things works as it should, turn left, the lever will not stay in the down position I need to hold it down!
Sounds like I need to talk with SoCal Bill Taylor!
Thanks for everyone's adviseCurt

 Curt,

You contradict yourself. If it does not stay in the down position to the left, then it is cancelling as soon as you let go. If it is not cancelling to the left, then it is staying down. Which is it?

Bill Taylor is the go-to guy to fix it, but he can’t fix a problem unless you can accurately describe it. :)
