[DeTomaso] Turn signal cancel cam (steering column)

Having a having a similar problem my turn signal. Works to the right and cancels to the right but will not stay in the down position to the left and does not cancel wonder if I have the same problem as you?

Turn Signal is not cancelling.
Checking the steering shaft, there is no cam on the shaft (I guess that
explains that). I don't know if it was left off when the car was restored or
just was not there when they received the car.
Anyway, is there a vendor that sells these? I think there is supposed to be
a spring somewhere in that assembly as well that the steering wheel pushes
against to hold the cam down so that it engages the turn signal tabs.
