[DeTomaso] Spinning wheel stud

Larry,

I presume the point of the pressure is to pull the wheel (push actually) away from the car, loading the lugnuts and putting tension on the stud. But since he has access to the rear of the stud, pressure can be brought directly to bear there, which has the added benefit of reducing or eliminating the interference drag between the wheel and the cone of the lug nut.
