[DeTomaso] Window door channels replacement

When taking things apart I found out that my front and back channel guides
are actually two separate pieces; lower section and upper section.
Is this correct or are they supposed to be one continuous piece?
As they are configured now it is certainly possible to replace the lower
ones with window in up position and possibly even upper ones with window il
down position.
I am just not sure if this is correct or they are supposed to be continuous?

Hi, I am about to replace all the door window channels and whiskers as my
channels are completely deteriorated.
I found good tutorials on "pantera-place" for replacing the whiskers, but
could not find much on the channel guides.
If there is a link, please if you could share.

How much dis-assembling is it necessary; any chance of installing new
channel guides and whiskers without removing the windows?
If it is necessary to remove the windows, is there online tutorial on the
process?
