[DeTomaso] Anyone looked into converting the aluminum grills behind the windows into air scoops?

 It seems like the aluminum grills are styled like scoops.  If that area is opened up, and horizontal fins are made that provide the same appearance as the grills, seems like the original look is preserved?  Maybe a clear scoop over the fins?
