I'm a very pasty northern European type and allergic to the sun. I still
have a little Fiat convertible but I have to dress like Claude Rains. I
keep the plastic top up most of the time :)

A A Garth - using a headlight restoration kit is fine for hard plastic
A A headlights, but with the soft plastic used on convertible top
windows
A A (many of which need to be flexible in order to fold), the
sandpaper
A A will only make the situation worse, by galling the plastic. And
beware
A A of utilizing polishing tools, as the soft plastics can burn from
A A frictional heat - been there, done that (and unfortunately), got
the
A A t-shirt.
