[DeTomaso] Which Grade of Mobile 1 for a mild build Cleveland?

My 73 came with an engine with maybe 1,000 miles on a high quality build.  I plastigauged the bearings and the clearances were on the high side.  The cam has a 6,500 redline and flat tappet lifters.  Seems typical?  Is 5W-40 about right?  I love synthetic oil, but does this have the additive for flat tappet lifters?

Good choices for a roller.
In Rotella, I do prefer the T6 synthetic 5W-40.
