[DeTomaso] What is this engine noise?

It sounds fantastic! I had the subwoofer set up so at first I was like
"what noise?" But the noise could be a tiny vacuum leak too making a
whistling noise.  Maybe even whistling through the carburetor
venturis.  It's a little shocking how much noise a carburetor actually
makes, automakers would build baffles and play with air box size to
quell it.  A smoke generator could show any leaks.  Is the motor hot
or cold or it doesn't matter when you hear the noise?

I do like the baffle theory but I kind of expect it to be noisier.
The noise also sounds very familiar... like around old cars but
benign-ish.  Honestly it seems weird to me that I don't know what it
is.
