I purchased an Exide group size 27 battery for my 72 Pantera - It fits well
in the battery location in the front trunk and works with the stock hold
down but seems too tall as when I close the hood, the hood is raised in the
area in front of the windshield on the passenger side.  The measurements of
the battery I purchased are: Height: 9", Width: 12.5" and Depth 6.81"

What is the proper size battery for a Pantera? I'm looking for a standard
battery, not Optima, etc.
