[DeTomaso] Trip Odometer reset

Curt,
I did and I tried turning both ways. Nada.
I do not feel any resistance either when pushing up (I would imagine there is a spring in there to hold tension on the knob) or turning.
It almost feels like it is not connected to anything.
Hence my curiosity as to how the knob is connected to the Trip odometer.
Thanks,
Jim

Did you push up, while turn the knob?

My trip odometer reset knob just turns with no effect. The trip
odometer seems to work fine I just can't reset it.
I am assuming there is a cable connecting the reset button to the Trip
Odometer.
So I suppose the issue could be at the actual reset knob or at the
speedometer. Is one of these components the most likely culprit or
should I just assume I will need to pull both and evaluate?
Thanks,
