Yes the angle does match, all I had to do was fabricate some spacers between the block and the Pantera aluminum stand.

I think he's confused. The 'net lore is there was a fire at one of
the
Ford transmission plants and the block was redesigned to take a
transmission from another plant that used the SBF bellhousing
pattern. Not
sure if that's true as it doesn't explain the additional vertical
bosses
for the SBF motor mounts. He may have gotten the idea from one of my
old
posts that noted that the 45 degree angle of the unique (3 bolt
holes in a
triangular pattern) 351M/400 motor mount bolt pattern happens to
match the
angle of the Pantera's cast aluminum engine stands (makes it easy to
adapt
to a Pantera).

I think he's confused.A The 'net lore is there was a fire at one of
the Ford transmission plants and the block was redesigned to take a
transmission from another plant that used the SBF bellhousing
pattern.A Not sure if that's true as it doesn't explain the
additional
vertical bosses for the SBF motor mounts.A He may have gotten the
idea
from one of my old posts that noted that the 45 degree angle of the
unique (3 bolt holes in a triangular pattern) 351M/400 motor mount
bolt
pattern happens to match the angle of the Pantera's cast aluminum
engine stands (makes it easy to adapt to a Pantera).
