[DeTomaso] Removable steering wheel options

Steve,
When I still owned 5533, my eventual plan was to use a system available by Grant.  It's not so much a race piece as a security device.

Grant part number 2001 is a quick-release hub.  You can do an online search and find photos.

Grant part number 4007 is a wheel-to-hub adapter that would be needed with the wheel I had on the car at the time.  Again, Google is your friend.

At one time Summit Racing had both.  Looking on Amazon just now, both are listed, and as Prime.  That might be the best deal.  I plan on using the same setup in the Mach I, which already has a Grant wheel, originally from a 1980 Sears catalog and one that Grant no longer makes.....but I really like.

My second option would be what Julian recommended.  ;)
