I have to use mechanical advantage to do the simplest of task.

You must not be very old or much stronger than I, 'cause most Pantera/Mangusta owners NEED a cherry-picker for engines, ZFs and even moving blocks around the shop. That, along with an air compressor and some kind of welder, is on the list of big heavy essential tools.

Lynn, all the lift aids fit under the roof, usually with a very short chain & hook off an engine crane.

I would think one drawback is the need for a true "cherry picker"!
