Dear Team,

         Wow. TPR done good.

Wow. CRS strikes again--I forgot John Taphorn! Three POCA
Presidents (at least!) have run Silver State. Very impressive. I
suspect that no other car club can match that level of participation by
national officers!

          Congratulations to all. Well done.

                  Warmest regards, Chuck Engles

  Close,

We were looking at historical races from about 17 years ago on the TPR
web site, in the archives, and I think the most was 14 Panteras at
either NORC or SSCC in some year right around there.

We want to do a reunion tour, can we count on you to race your Pantera
next year?

Asa

finished by
both Mad Dog and John Taphorn, who at different times served as 2-term

presidents. IIRC 10 Panteras ran in that ORR and we took home 5 class
trophies. The Corvette guys were royally humbled.

I suspect that may have been the all-time record Pantera attendance for
any
ORR.

It was a very good day.

Dear Mike,

Yikes! You're right.....and that means that this ORR is the
only event where *two* Presidents of POCA have participated and
finished.
It also means that I have CRS {Can't Remember Stuff}. Thanks for the
correction.

My apologies to Dennis.

Warmest regards, Chuck Engles

Chuck,

Not to take anything away from Gerry (well-done sir!) but don't forget
that
Mad Dog was also POCA president for awhile....

Dear Asa and Team,

Well done. That means that Gerry Romack finished and
that means he is the only POCA President to participate and finish an
ORR! Impressive.

Four starts, four finishes. Resting at Sam's Town now. Banquet at 7
and we'll find out results.
